Kristy Gorsuch, Design Manager I grew up in a small town on the coast of Maine where my parents owned their own electrical, plumbing and hvac business. From the earliest time I can remember, I went with my dad on service calls, rode with him to look at new construction, and was intrigued by the many sets of blue prints he kept around the house. I never realized how much this influenced me. Fast forward several years & I went away to college and then spent six years in the human resources field, feeling bored and suffocated by the desk. I remember vividly turning 28 and desperately searching for what I was meant to do. I had a friend who worked for a builder in Georgia and started talking to her about her job description. At the same time, my husband and I met Steve Kendrick while looking at a Structures home in I'On. I immediately felt a connection to Steve and asked if he would have lunch with me to discuss the construction field a bit more. It took three months and several conversations, but Steve created an Assistant Project Manager position for me and my career at Structures began. I am extremely thankful to have found what I was meant to do and have loved my entire experience with Structures.
