|News: 2012 Prism Awards
It was another great year for Structures at the annual PRISM Awards Event sponsored by The Post & Courier! We were selected for a PRISM Award for Best Product - Single Family Home in the $1 million to $1.5 million range for a lovely Beau Clowney designed home in Mt. Pleasant's Old Village. We are very thankful to be honored with this award and for clients who love their quality, custom home!
|News: IOP ReStructure Project Complete
We are excited to announce the completion of a whole-home beach front renovation on the Isle of Palms! This ReStructure project (designed by Herlong & Associates)transformed an outdated beach house into a family's dream home with 6 bedrooms and 61/2 bathrooms including 2 master suites, a gourmet kitchen, and sweeping views of the Atlantic. |News: Roaring 20's Award Winner
Last week, Structures was honored with a 2012 Roaring 20's Award, an annual award given to high performance businesses in our state. Structures was ranked #2 in South Carolina for small businesses! We were so honored to participate in the event, and humbled to be ranked so highly among some of South Carolina's fastest growing companies!

|News: New Additions to Our Team
Our team here at Structures is growing! We would like to introduce you to Chris Hulsey and Mandy Shealy - our newest team members. Chris is a Structures Project Manager with over 14 years of custom home building and real estate experience here in Charleston. He is a USC graduate and currently lives in Mt. Pleasant. Mandy recently joined our crew as a Designer. She has a degree in Interior Design from James Madison University and previously worked in a plumbing, lighting and appliance showroom for over 8 years. We are excited to have both of these wonderful additions at Structures!
|Event: Charleston Restaurant Week September 5-16
Its here again! This is one of our favorite times to live in the Lowcountry - Charleston Restaurant Week! The Charleston Restaurant Association sponsors this event a couple times each year offering some of the best local cuisine at great prices. Participating restaurants will offer fixed menus at either $20, $30, $40 from September 5-16. Take a break from cooking, and treat yourself to some of the best deals in Charleston! Details HERE.

|News: Building a Healthy Team!
For 8 weeks this Summer, members of our Structures team along with others from the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association participated in two fitness boot camps through the MUSC Wellness Center. Our dedicated participants met twice a week for challenging workouts and nutrition classes - and have lost a combined total of almost 70 pounds! These boot camps were primers for the MUSC Healthy Charleston Challenge in which we will participate this Fall. |Event: 4th of July Celebrations!
The Lowcountry has many options for your 4th of July! Whether you want to take a boat out on the harbor, relax at the beach, picnic at the Battery, or grill at home - Charleston is the place to be this Independence Day. And if you're looking for spectacular fireworks, there are shows all over the area. Our top spot is Patriot's Point in Mt. Pleasant where fireworks will blast from the USS Yorktown. |News: Steve Kendrick Awarded Golden Hammer
At the close of this year's Habitat for Humanity Builder's Blitz (which you can read about HERE), Structures owner, Steve Kendrick was awarded the East Cooper Habitat for Humanity's Golden Hammer Award for his many years of service as a Habitat board member and for his leadership during the 2008 and 2012 Builders Biltz events. We are so honored for this recognition and thankful for the opportunity to build up our community!
