|Event: Charleston Restaurant Week September 5-16
Its here again! This is one of our favorite times to live in the Lowcountry - Charleston Restaurant Week! The Charleston Restaurant Association sponsors this event a couple times each year offering some of the best local cuisine at great prices. Participating restaurants will offer fixed menus at either $20, $30, $40 from September 5-16. Take a break from cooking, and treat yourself to some of the best deals in Charleston! Details HERE.

Structures owner, Steve Kendrick, will now be participating as a guest blogger for a great new blog, The Places Post. This is a blog created by local real estate agents with a pulse on all things Charleston! Guest bloggers include Lowcountry locals, from business owners to historians.

|News: Building a Healthy Team!
For 8 weeks this Summer, members of our Structures team along with others from the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association participated in two fitness boot camps through the MUSC Wellness Center. Our dedicated participants met twice a week for challenging workouts and nutrition classes - and have lost a combined total of almost 70 pounds! These boot camps were primers for the MUSC Healthy Charleston Challenge in which we will participate this Fall. |Event: 4th of July Celebrations!
The Lowcountry has many options for your 4th of July! Whether you want to take a boat out on the harbor, relax at the beach, picnic at the Battery, or grill at home - Charleston is the place to be this Independence Day. And if you're looking for spectacular fireworks, there are shows all over the area. Our top spot is Patriot's Point in Mt. Pleasant where fireworks will blast from the USS Yorktown. |News: Steve Kendrick Awarded Golden Hammer
At the close of this year's Habitat for Humanity Builder's Blitz (which you can read about HERE), Structures owner, Steve Kendrick was awarded the East Cooper Habitat for Humanity's Golden Hammer Award for his many years of service as a Habitat board member and for his leadership during the 2008 and 2012 Builders Biltz events. We are so honored for this recognition and thankful for the opportunity to build up our community!

Structures Building Company is once again partnering with East Cooper Habitat for Humanity to build a home for a local family in ONE week's time! The build will take place June 1-8, 2012 in Mt. Pleasant. We've gathered a great group of trades, suppliers, and restaurants to donate their time and resources to help make the build possible - we could not do this without them! Be sure to look for photos and updates on our BLOG!
|Event: Spoleto Festival USA 2012
Take part in the one of the country's premier arts festivals right here in Charleston May 25 - June 10! Began by a Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and others who desired an American counterpart to Spoleto, Italy's Festival of Two Worlds, Spoleto Festival USA is 17 days and nights of performing arts including opera, theatre, music, and dance. |News: Movies In Marion Square
Spring in Charleston means one thing for sure - its time to get outside! On Friday nights in April, Charleston City Paper will be showing FREE movies in Marion Square park downtown at dusk. The event is kid-friendly and includes plenty of options for food, fun, and spending time outside in our beautiful city! This week's movie is The Sandlot - for details go HERE.
|News: Flowertown Festival This Weekend
Looking for something to do after the Bridge Run this weekend? Check out one of the top ranked events in the Southeast - Summerville's Flowertown Festival! This event features hundreds of artists, some excellent Charleston food vendors, and plenty of activities for children. The Flowertown Festival is a fundraiser for the Summerville Family YMCA. Next Saturday, March 31st plan to join the tens of thousands of people in the 35th annual Cooper River Bridge Run! This 10k race from Mt. Pleasant into downtown Charleston attracts runners from all over the world and is a tradition for thousands of Charleston area residents. For more details on race events and to register click HERE.
