|News: Post & Courier Features ReStructure Client
One of our major whole-home renovations recently received some good press in our city’s newspaper, The Post & Courier, in a feature highlighting outdoor living. Our ReStructure team just completed an extensive Herlong & Associates designed custom renovation on the Isle of Palms. The beach-front home that overlooks the Atlantic underwent major changes including a reworked floor plan, new custom kitchen, updated bathrooms, and big changes to the exterior of the home. In addition, the homeowners added a luxury outdoor kitchen and entertaining area complete with an infinity pool, a space that landed them in the news article. |News: Structures Competes in Bowling Tournament for Local Non-Profit
Structures recently had the opportunity to show off our bowling skills for a great cause! We joined forces with other local businesses to support the Florence Crittenton Program of SC in a friendly bowling tournament at The Alley in downtown Charleston. The tournament raises money for young, at-risk pregnant women and mothers who are supported by the many services of the Florence Crittenton Program. Their mission is to provide these mothers with the skills, education, and support to start a healthy life for themselves and their babies. Structures is always excited to partner with great organizations seeking to build up our community, and Florence Crittenton is certainly doing just that. And to make the evening even more fun, the Structures team WON the bowling tournament!!

|News: I'On Village Move-In!
I’On Village has some wonderful new neighbors! We recently completed a beautiful DesignBuild project in collaboration with designer, Neal Van Dalen in the charming Mt. Pleasant neighborhood. The home has 4 bedrooms, 4 ½ bathrooms, and a suite over the garage complete with kitchen and balcony sitting area. One unique feature of this home is the inclusion of a modern Japanese Tatami room with textured walls, tatami mat flooring, and a connected bathroom with a teak tub designed to overflow. The home also boasts a lovely landscape plan including a stunning pool and custom pool house. This was a fun project from start to finish, and we were completely thrilled to give these wonderful clients the keys to their dream home, officially welcoming them to the Structures family!
|Event: CHBA Bacon & Brew Bash
When we’re not busy building beautiful custom homes, there are few things we enjoy more than a competitive cook-off…especially if it involves BACON! The Charleston Home Builders Association’s annual themed cook-off this month gave us the opportunity to gather with other professionals in the industry at Holy City Brewing and show off our culinary skills by incorporating bacon in each dish. The Bacon & Brew Bash allowed teams to use bacon however we wished to create a cocktail, an appetizer or a dessert. We all then served up our bacon treats at a farmyard themed table!
And though we didn't win any trophies for our creations, it was a fun night of bacon-wrapped EVERYTHING, great beer from Holy City Brewery, and spending time with other CHBA members!
